Beautiful wild horses running in snow on a cold crisp day. This painting is inspired by a
photo my parents took of their horses running up the field on a Vermont winter day. It was
taken years and years ago, but I always remembered the photo. And so, this is the SECOND time I have painted my version of this photograph. During Covid 2020 winter I painted this as a triptych and gifted it to my brother-in-law. 

 

Wild Horses Running in Snow I was the first completed painting of the Wild Horse Series and the Wild Horse Series - The Original Six created in Spring of 2022 in my Asheboro, NC studio.


Original painting is 40" x 30" x 1.5" (101.6cm x 76.2cm). Acrylic on primed canvas, two layers of UV protective clear varnish in both gloss (sky) and matte (horses and land). Certificate of Authenticity and Artist Information on back of the painting.

This painting is currently unframed, with frame options available upon request. Free shipping of all originals in the US and Canada and at cost internationally. Sales tax collected for NC residents.
