The Four Horses - 24" x 12"

This horizontal painting, using black primed canvas, acrylic markers, metallic paint and acrylic paint, is super fun. I was playing with symbols and patterns, which I love doing in these smaller canvases. I just adore the expressions on each horse. The pattern brought back childhood memories of animal felt fabric stitching kits we would thread and fill with stuffing to hang on the Christmas tree.  I am always amazed at the nostalgia art can conjure.
